There are 2 types of people on social media

  1. the consumer
  2. the creator

If you’re consuming your feed, you’re not creating. 

And vice versa.

Sure, you can be gathering inspiration as you consume, but you’re not doing the act of creating content. 

Creating content requires a different set of brain muscles. 

Those who do their own marketing need to be familiar with both sides. 

They need to understand how people consume content, and they need to know how to create content people will pay attention to.
