The first line is everything.
Without a good first liner, you might as well have not written anything.
Now you might be asking, “But how do you know when you have a good headline versus a bad one?”
Frankly there’s only one real way to find out.
Regardless of whether you’ve got a good headline or not, writers must keep writing.
If it’s good, great.
If it’s not, we keep trying until something sticks.
