As Elizabeth Gilbert says, a job pays the bills. Everyone needs a job.
However, the thing about jobs is that a lot of people tie their self worth to their job (that’s what careers are for). Turns out, it doesn’t have to be that way.
Your job is not who you are. Your job is not a be-all-end-all.
For some, jobs are simply a means to pay living expenses.
If our living expenses are fully paid for and we are in good health at the end of the day, then that is worth noting.
