During the day, I manage social media for a little Chinese restaurant.
Actually, it’s our family’s restaurant. And social media is only one of the many things I do there.
Over time, we’ve managed to gain a lot of traction from platforms like Instagram and Tiktok.
One of the greatest things I learned from doing social media content for our restaurant is this:
Things that don’t seem to make a sale immediately are things that build up something else.
Likability.
Part of the whole marketing package is making your customers like you.
It’s like finding the right person to date.
There are a lot of people out there, but which are the ones we can see a future with?
There are a lot of brands out there, but which ones are you going to like? Surely not everybody can fit the bill.
Stop trying to ask for marriage at first date.
Stop trying to ask for a sale at first post.
Make them fall in like with you first.
