- Figure out what you want exactly you want to say. Focus on one singular message to send, and write about that.
- Write for one person you have in mind. This is what is commonly referred to as the target audience, but I like to think of it as an intentionally written love letter. When we write letters, we write for a specific person we know. We’re familiar with their life and problems.
- Close your post with a reason why someone else should follow your writing journey. What will you bring to the table? How will you help someone else?
Lastly, a blog post is a blog post. It’s not being graded, so it doesn’t have to be perfect before you hit the publish button.
