The success of your marketing is tied to the impact you make for the person on the other end

mental effort ≠ impact

time spent ≠ impact

money invested ≠ impact

The thing that makes the most impact as a marketer is not mental effort. Nor is it the amount of time you’ve invested in your goal. It’s not even about how much money you spent on running campaigns or into your education.

If you’re a marketer, the thing that makes the most impact is understanding what you can do for your market. It’s getting comfortable with your audience’s problems and being able to provide a solution they want and are willing to buy. None of this is directly related to being smart, having the luxury of spending lots of time on, or being rich.

Marketing success comes when you understand what your market needs and can deliver results they want.
