This is the same question as, how do you find your voice as a writer? What’s your genre as a singer? What kind of art will you make as a painter? What kind of games do you play as a gamer? What kind of food do you like to cook the most? What food do you like eating the most?
The answer to all of these questions comes to a number of things. First, nobody knows what their style is like from the get go. But if you don’t know what your style is, the only way to find out is by trying a bit of everything.
When I was younger, the only kind of food I had was my grandma’s cooking. I didn’t know that I liked Filipino food because I never tried it until I was much older. I didn’t know that I liked coffee until I tried it.
And on, and on, and on.
So back to the question, how do you find your style as a creative? By trying everything until something sticks out for you.
