I’ve been slowly building the brand of our restaurant these past 2 years, and I’ve come to learn this very important brand-building lesson.
One thing I learned about building a brand from scratch is that you can’t be too choosy with what you share on social media.
When you’re building a brand from scratch, what matters most is that you answer the following 2 questions with your message:
- What problem are you solving?
- Who will the message be for?
It’s surprising to me how long people usually end up waiting until they post one thing on their Instagram business account, when that single post could be the start of what could bring them brand awareness and thousands of dollars in the long run.
It’s okay to not get the messaging and branding right from the get-go too. What matters most is that you keep sharing and learn from your mistakes.
