There’s A Hare and Turtle Inside of Everybody

We’re all turtles when it comes to doing things we dislike. If it’s chores, we wait until the last minute to do them. If it’s homework, we seldom want to open our textbooks. We become slow and dread the tasks we’re assigned.

In contrast, we turn into hares when put in front of something we love. we get excited when put in front of our favourite foods. We get giddy when we’re passionate about what we do. Learning becomes easy, and time passes by faster.

Everybody is both a hare and a turtle at one point or another.

If we’re put into an environment where we turtle up most of the time, we’ll forget that we’re capable of being the hare as well (and vice versa).
