If you’re going to throw a party, the guests are subject to your house rules. You decide on the kind of people who get invited (because not everybody will be).
Once you’ve decided who’s on your VIP list (not just some, but all your guests), you’ve got to treat them right. For the duration of the party, you’ll be helping them enjoy their time.
Cleaning up begins once the party is over. As host, you’re the first one to arrive and the last to leave. Anything broken is yours to amend, and left over garbage is for you to take out.
If you do a good job, if your guests had a good time, word of your party will spread. Your guests will give you permission to host them again.
