Please Remove Your But

It’s in the way of everything. But indicates a way out, and a reason to say no.

If we were more inclined to say yes, we could replace it with “and” or “so”

For example,

I want to pursue the arts, so I will.

I want to change my career path, so I’m going to do my best to try.

I want to share my art on social media, and I will start posting today.

You could easily replace all these sentences with a but, but that’s not what we’re here to do.
