Don’t Be Too Hard on Yourself on an Off Day

Life throws small curveballs every now and then.

I wanted to wake up before 8 every morning. When I finally reached my goal and maintained it for a few days, I crashed.

I made myself a coffee but the milk I poured into it already curdled in the bag.

The laundry machine broke.

Illustrator kept crashing.

It just couldn’t stop raining.

And on, and on, and on.

We wish things could be perfect every single time, but how realistic would that be?

Off days don’t stop.

How we manage our emotions and reactions to things not going our way is how we’ll pave the way to a better day.
