Learn design by doing it, and not stressing out about how bad it might be when you start.

We’ve all been here. Scrapping every piece of art we make because it’s just not the way we thought it’d turn out when the idea was still in our heads.

And here too. Giving up because we’re 2 days into trying, and the train of inspiration we once were riding had stopped.

Most people drop creative work because they think their work is ugly, stupid, or they’ll never get to where the other people on Instagram are.

But if you’re reading this, my guess is that you haven’t stopped (not yet at least).

As we do more and go further into our work, there’s a chance we’ll change the way we do things. It might be better, but we’ll have to go through all the bad and the ugly first.
