The Curse of Perfectionism and What We Can Do About It

Chances are that if you’re reading this, you’re not a brain surgeon. That means you and I have a lot more room to make a wrong move or to make mistakes (even if on purpose).

The thing school teaches us with grades is that if we don’t get an A, that means we didn’t do well. What they don’t teach is that the rest of the world outside of school doesn’t operate based on grades. 

So now we go around, cursed with the idea that we have to get an A (or else) while the world continues to move past us. 

The alternative is knowing that a lot of what you see, a lot of the products you use, started out with an F, not an A.
