A lot of us make work because it has some sort of use, but less of us are willing to show it once it’s done.
In some ways, it can be embarrassing to not show your best foot forward. In other ways, it’s hard to make a judgement call on what’s good or not if the intended audience is somebody else (not yourself).
It’s easy to hide when you don’t think your work is good enough to show. However, it’s worth it to ask, what might happen if I show this to the right person? And, are you thoughtful enough to share and make that moment happen?
