You Don’t Have to Fake it Till You Make It

Fake it till you make it is a terrible way to live life if you want to stay honest with yourself.

Lying on your resume or your LinkedIn profile doesn’t help anybody except you.

Trying to curate the-best-possible-aesthetically-pleasing Instagram feed doesn’t work the way you think it does.

Just like how you can tell whether or not someone is a native speaker of a certain language, the nuances are where we find the line.

Fake too much and you’ll end up breaking the trust you’ve worked so hard to build.

(And trust is the thing we need more of).
