Why Perfectionism is Slowing You Down

Here’s a common creative project scenario: 95% of the work is done, but you’re still working away at the last 5% and it’s taking a long time. In fact, your 5% consists of working, reworking, and re-reworking minor details that the average person won’t even notice.

So we have to ask: when is it done? And when it’s done, what should it look like? Where does it go, and who gets to see it? Who is it for?

Is the last 5% really worth it when you can do another 95% instead?
