You probably recognize all the things you have in your room. So much that you recognize which things are not a part of your room, too.
And any new stuff you want to add to your room, well, you want those items to bring value to you or else it wouldn’t make sense to keep it there.
It’s the same thing when it comes to branding.
Each room is its own brand or purpose.
We don’t need a stand mixer or oven in our bedroom, because our bedroom isn’t our kitchen.
We don’t need a toilet in our kitchen, because that would be off-putting for when we make food.
Unthoughtful or inconsistent objects in our messaging make for clutter (and because it’s clutter, we frustrate our audience).
