More Than A Customer

There was one evening where one of our longtime customers came by after work and asked us if we could help him cook if he brought his own ingredients.

Since we knew him and have been serving him for a while, of course we said yes.

One hour later, he came back with a big metal bowl filled with pork coated in flour, and a smaller bowl of taro cubes ready to deep fry.

He then took his homemade sweet vinegar sauce and poured it over the cooked pork and taro.

Of course, he didn’t leave without giving some back to our family to try.

That was the night I started to understand the value of a lifelong customer. It’s so much more than transactions for the short term.
