How To Get Into the Habit of Things

Readjusting ourselves for a new habit is hard, because it takes effort (sometimes a lot of it) and time. 

Maybe we choose to sleep earlier, or to make an sketch every day. In my own case it’s putting something into words on a daily basis.

Despite this being my 3rd attempt at practicing writing consistently, I still find that there are slow days and good days. Building a new habit is a huge point of friction. It’s not user friendly. 

The sudden and abnormal amount of effort we need to build a new habit is not always easy to muster up.

But once we persist through the beginning, if we can come back to it day after day without being too hard on ourselves, then it gets easier.
