I’m writing this one, because it’s more relevant than ever in January 2021 as we begin the new year.
Starting something new doesn’t mean it’s always going to be great.
Nobody knows you, nobody trusts you (yet).
Few will look for reasons why it will work. Most will point out why it won’t.
No wonder it’s so easy to get discouraged right from the beginning, or 3 weeks in, or 13 months in.
I’m a big believer in looking backwards to see how the dots really connect, but to get to the other side, the side we all want to get on, we have to stick it through the dark and still bits.
The long haul has just begun. Here’s to hunkering down and doing the work.
